Andi_77 Posted September 11, 2013 Share #1  Posted September 11, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) One month ago I took this picture in Camogli (on the Liguria coast). Some days I look at it and I love it, and then the next day I don't. Still trying to find out what works and what doesn't, so your feedback would be interesting and useful. Welcome, dear visitor! newnew Posted September 11, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted September 11, 2013 To my (humble ) view , the framing, colors and composition are right but the picture would have been great if focus was on the shooting person rather than the front .
Andi_77 Posted September 11, 2013 Author Share #3 Â Posted September 11, 2013 Interesting point. I remember that - in the moment I was taking the picture - I left the "Bagni Lido" lettering in focus on purpose, I thought it would set a nice foreground. But on the other hand you're 100% right. Karl G Posted September 11, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted September 11, 2013 Interesting place to play, it must be very inconvenient when it goes off the side. I too think the most interesting object is the kicker.
pauledell Posted September 12, 2013 Share #5 Â Posted September 12, 2013 A nice idea but I agree with Ali about the focusing. Â Paul
Photoskeptic Posted September 15, 2013 Share #6 Â Posted September 15, 2013 Agree with the others. I say trash it, however, this is just an idea so take it for what it's worth - crop down from the top where the red ball is at the top of the frame. IMO, this would put the emphasis on the sign and keep an interesting background. Â Camogli is a great place, you lucky guy.
