marconorth Posted September 9, 2013 Share #1  Posted September 9, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey, be kind it is my first post here! So I have an M4-P, and succeeded in knocking the little focusing knob off of my 35mm Summicron. I need a replacement part basically - two pictures below should explain things best. Any suggestions or recommendations for the place would be great. I do not want to send my camera to them, I am looking to just get the part sent to a US address.  thanks!  Marco Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Hi marconorth, Take a look here Leica M lens part question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marknorton Posted September 19, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted September 19, 2013 Leica is reluctant to send out parts for users to fit, preferring to ensure that any item requiring service is fully checked by returning it to them. Â Your lens is quite old and the required part may or may not be available. Best thing to do is to email Leica with the pictures of the lens in the hope they can tell you if the part is available. Don't expect them to quote costs. They will likely only do that once the lens is in their hands.
