Iduna,

An excellent picture. Fine composition, tones and sharpness. That reminds me, I need some coffee myself.

Karl,

thanks for taking time for a coffee.

mumu,

thanks joining us at Union Square. It is a good inbetween stop if you came walking down from Penn Station (as we did) or for people around there coming from the office to have a chat.

Apologize to post this late, I was member since 2012 and till recently found my password and login 😅
I wanted to share one of my photograph that won 2nd place the National geographic Travel of he Year 2017 in people category. I shot using Leica ME with 50mm Lux, at Rijks Museum in Amsterdam way back in 2015. I shot twice and the first one obviousely out of focus due to the manual setting, etc.. but the second shot was perfect.
I love the visitors expression and lighting that really help this image stand out. I named this shot "Interesting Moment" 😃
Love my ME and the 50mm Lux combination, I never change lens since.

Life is pretty quiet photographically for me at the moment, mostly due to really bad weather with heavy rain which makes street photography almost impossible. This means I am continuing my journey through my archives, and this I had forgotten. It shows a typical English pastime - playing bowls. The white clothes are the standard dress for everyone, and afternoon tea is almost compulsory. English tradition at its best.
      Leica M3 + 50mm Summicron f2. Ilford 400 Delta. 1997.

Whilst sat at the traffic lights today I noticed this guy and managed to shoot it very quickly through the closed window of my car. First time I have tried this.
