Hello,

a photography in two versions, first one processed in ordinary way plus tonemapping, second one additionally processed with Alien Snap Art. With M 240 and Summilux ASPH FLE 50/1,4 - used aperture was f 6.8, ISO 200. The M 240 showed its high dynamic range in this situation, which was very helpful for the tonemapping :

Heinz,

thanks for the comparison. Nice capture.

To be honest, I would prefer the first one for one reason. although the second one was under more effort, at least on my PC there is a slight noise to be seen. So, the first one is showing many details as clear water and nice red. You can try brightening up the red but I don't know what will become of noise then. It's perhaps worth trying. Keep going with this.

Hello,

thank you all for your remarks. Perhaps I should have said a few words to the Alien Snap Art Software prior to bring up a picture proceeded (in this case only slightly) with it. This software allows a wide range of proceeding photographs in direction of paintings with very, very much possibilities. But all these proceedings bring photographs away from the spectrum of usual photographs. you loose sharpness etc. etc. and sometimes at the end things do not look like photos. So it might not be the right place for them to show in a photographic forum.

As you have sugggested, I have brightened the flower a bit - here the outcome:

Heinz,

yes, now the red is glowing. Thanks. Keep going with the software and the information is quite interesting. Many filter do a sort of bringing artefacts into a picture to imitate painting tools. I am eager to learn more.
