There was much work for my X1 this time serving as back-up for my MKII/Zeiss Distagon gear. Welcome, dear visitor! ravinj Posted August 28, 2013 Share #3 Posted August 28, 2013 Iduna - Good perspectives and I see that X1 is still a constant companion. - R.
Karl G Posted August 29, 2013 Share #4 Posted August 29, 2013 Very nice series, and I have to confess that I walked through it as a short cut once.
pauledell Posted August 29, 2013 Share #5 Posted August 29, 2013 Iduna, A great series of shots with an excellent back-up camera. From what I have seen from the X series cameras, they could just about be the one and only for much work, Paul

Iduna Posted August 29, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted August 29, 2013 Ravi, Paul, Henry, thank you all for your time and nice comments on this X1-series. I like this camera more and more but - it is not an easy companion to handle. You need a precise imagination what you want to have and then it will give you all you want it you know all the tricks to tweak it. Optical VF is absolutely helpful and I often applied all manual settings from f-stop and independantly selected speed. High ISO (up to 1000 is possible without much noise if exposure is correct, etc.
newnew Posted August 29, 2013 Share #9 Posted August 29, 2013 Iduna, I like these series a lot. For me the no 2 stands out . It looks like a temple of modern times, a nice split graphism and activities by people that can only be understood by the "initiated" into the big city life ! stuny Posted August 29, 2013 Share #10 Posted August 29, 2013 Iduna - A lovely set and with the first pair I find color more appropriate to the over-the-top nature of the venue. Please let me know the next time you're in town so we can meet.

Iduna Posted August 29, 2013 Author Share #12 Posted August 29, 2013 Stuart, thanks for looking into the matter. Yes, of course the glamour is better shown in color. B&W more and more come into my mind. So this was an attempt. I'll post more of these juxtapositions. Yes, since you know Ravinj already it will be a pleasure of meeting in NYC. Thank you very much, I know to appreciate this.
