Advertisement Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Hi jaapv, Take a look here M240 + Telyt 3.4 135mm experiences?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
k-hawinkler Posted September 2, 2013 Share #42  Posted September 2, 2013 How about APO Sonnar 135mm f2, for instance Nikon F mount lens could be used via F-M adapter from Novoflex etc. It is similar in weight & heft to R APO Elmarit 180mm. New lens at £1600 is cheaper than typical S/H APO Telyt.   Indeed, the Zeiss 135mm f/2 Apo Sonnar T* ZF.2 Lens for Nikon F Mount seems to have a stellar reputation. It's available in the US for $2122.  Does anyone have experience with this lens on M240 or D800/E? I am very interested to learn more about that. Thanks. Paul J Posted September 2, 2013 Share #43 Â Posted September 2, 2013 Me too. From what I've seen of the Zeiss, it's very impressive.

From few images I have taken I think I like it.  Welcome, dear visitor! algrove Posted September 3, 2013 Share #45 Â Posted September 3, 2013 I am not using it often but I still think it is nice to have one Tele lens in the M-lens kit. Just yesterday I have used it when I went to the zoo on my new M (together with a 1.4x loupe). The results look very good. I find the lens also great for compressed landscape subjects. It is also -IMO-a nice compromise between speed and size. Â Could you kindly elaborate on your "1.4x loupe". Make, photo, anything. That makes nearly 290mm. Sounds interesting. Thanks. algrove Posted September 3, 2013 Share #47 Â Posted September 3, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) The word "loupe" threw me for a loop. Thanks. I was hoping there existed a 1.4x extender M.

kokoshawnuff Posted September 5, 2013 Share #49 Â Posted September 5, 2013 I've not had my M for long, but the Telyt is proving to be just as capable on the M as it has been on film for me. Â Two silly shots, but a good (real world) way to test focus via traditional RF means: Â Â Â I think both are wide open...
algrove Posted September 5, 2013 Share #50 Â Posted September 5, 2013 It seems that doggie loves to pose for you. (Probably saying to himself-Will this guy ever stop focusing and setting exposure so I can get on with life)
