Iduna Posted August 11, 2013 Share #1  Posted August 11, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) these are from my visit to a nearby forest. In spite of being perfumed we we under attack of midges living on a close cow meadow. We thought it woud be dark soon, so the dark side of the forest had its showdown. Light was fading quickly here.  All with Canon 5D MKII and Elmarit R 60 mm macro on tripod.   Welcome, dear visitor! platypus Posted August 12, 2013 Share #3 Â Posted August 12, 2013 All are nice shots of a lovely deeply green forest. I particularly like #1, looking from relative darkness towards the light and with the strange tower-like structure adding a narrative to the image. Dee. Iduna Posted August 12, 2013 Author Share #7 Â Posted August 12, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bill, thank you. Yes, these light colours were the natural ones and I wanted to bring out the pale detailed green. Â Dee, yes, teh first one was a dark place at the bottom enclosed by hill from all sides. Apples lying there and feeders that the intention to attract wild boar was visible. and from the seat tower one can shoot easily. So we were quiteuneasy in this lonesome place and quickly left after taking the picutres. It was there almost dusk. Â Karl, this is a good place to explore. almost deserted it was. Â Paul, it is always surprising how fast dusk reaches these places. Therefore the rich deep color and the lighter one for being back on the pathway. Â Stuart, it is also my favourite but the place was somehow eerie because we noticed that apples and feeders were indicating that wild boar was being attracted and evenso being destined of being shot. We left after taking our own shots very soon.
