Karl G Posted July 31, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 31, 2013 I like the B&W , because we all know the colors and it displays the subject without the distracting green as well as the texture.
pauledell Posted July 31, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 31, 2013 Vic, I like the b&w version the most. It wrings out the details so much more in b&w. Paul

Guest Posted August 1, 2013 Share #9 Posted August 1, 2013 ...Color or B&W? In this case I prefer B&W, as the colors don't look real on my screen.
Iduna Posted August 1, 2013 Share #10 Posted August 1, 2013 Vic, thanks for the chance of a discussion. It is a very good shot, sharp and well composed. I like the B&W version and the reasons have been told be the others. But you can achieve a similar effect with the color version as well. hat might be improved in the color version is the background yellow. The yellow as a color and the yellow as part of the gree. So you can try to reduce the yellow, or desaturate the yellow in the backdrop part of the picture. The effect will be that it is a bit darker and so the luminance won't be disturbing any more. Just ry it out whether it will work here, it is worthwhile because the color version is very good as well.
