This was a kind of a holiday digilux challenge with a very few entries and not much more voters, but nevertheless thanks a lot for all photographers joining this challenge and all voters voting for.

We have a winner and it is, of course, a worthy winner;)

 

On gold with 17pts is mikren and his Breakfast must wait.... My congratilations Carsten:)

 

The silver rang is with 14pts on my side thank you very much for that

 

Third on bronce is Hartgraef with One Summer Morning and 11pts

 

So, I am looking forward to the next challenge orginized by mikren, the

Digilux-Challenge #26

Thank you Eckart for the Organisation of this Challenge. Tranks to all the photographers and voters. I hope there will be more people joining the next Digilux Challenge.

 

Congrats to Eckart and Hartgraef for winning silver and bronce.

 

Maybe I put the Mini Challenge and the Digilux Challenge together a make a Leica Compact Challenge. What do you think?

I also congratulate mikren. In my opinion the best picture has won.

Thanks to eckart for perfect organisation of this challenge.

 

For connecting the Mini Challenge and the Digilux Challenge I would prefer to wait two or three challenges. May be the number of participants of the Digilux Challenge will be increase. The last ten Digilux-Challenges had a range between 7 and 16 participants.

It should be also discussed in the Mini Challenge section. I think, some analogue participants will have a disadvantage because of technical reasons, for example the scan quality.

 

Auch ich gratuliere mikren. Meiner Meinung nach hat das beste Bild gewonnen. Vielen Dank an eckart für die perfekte Organisation des Wettbewerbs.

Wegen einer Verbindung des Mini Challenge mit dem Digilux- Challenge würde ich es bevorzugen, noch zwei oder drei Wettbewerbe abzuwarten. Vielleicht erhöht sich die Zahl der Teilnehmer wieder. Die letzten zehn Digilux-Wettbewerbe hatten zwischen 7 und 16 Teilnehmern.

Eine Verschmelzung beider Wettbewerbe sollte auch in der Sektion Mini Challenge diskutiert werden. Ich denke, dass einige analoge Teilnehmer Nachteile wegen technischer Gründe haben könnten, z. B. wegen der Scanqualität.

Well done everyone for your effort and input.

I think it is not a great idea to put the Digilux- and the Leica-Mini-Challenge together.

I am afraid the main members are the same in both challenges, so we will not create more joiners, but we are loosing with the Leica-Mini a very special challenge.

Both types of cameras are very small and comparable cheap, but by making pictures it is a big difference. With the small digital devices it is in my eyes the easiest way to make pictures, you see exactly what you are going to shoot, framewise, technicalwise and there are nearly no problem you cannot solve. I really love that.

With the minis it is just the opposite. You have a very bad view finder, you cannot go very close, there are not really posibilities to manipulate the capture.....so to get a good or a brillant picture it is even a bigger victory, isn't it?

Too bad that there were only a few participants. But that does not change the high quality of the winning entries. Thanks to Eckart for the perfect organization.
