Recently I got a good deal on a new 21mm lux and also bought a B+W series 8 two stop ND filter.

 

It seems that although the series 8 filter can be fit inside the lens hood, it is kind of loose when staying inside the hood and rattles a hell lot. This is unfortunate as you can only stack the series 8 filter in between the lens and hood like a sandwich.

 

Not sure if this also happens to other users? My current solution is to put a thin slice of paper around the edge of the filter before putting it inside the hood, at least now the filter doesn't move anymore...

I have the same problem with my 24mm Summilux, I've gotten used to it, but an extra piece of paper or tape would do the trick. Thanks.

You can purchase very thin teflon tape with adhesive just on one side. Just adhere a few mm length of this in one or two spots to the inside of the lens hood - discrete and effective.
