starwatcher Posted July 25, 2006 Share #24 Posted July 25, 2006 Hi, Hary, mailed a friend to find out whether he can contribute... Conrad is right, the Leica DMR does not appear on the supported device list (you'll find that on the Jobo homepage). http://www.jobo.com/jobo_service/digital/files/giga_vu_pro/gvp_raw_compatibility_juli_05.pdf If I have any news I'll let you know; and you keep us posted... best - Klaus
jlancasterd Posted July 25, 2006 Share #25 Posted July 25, 2006 Barbaroza I assume that you have tried reformatting the cards in the camera? If the Jobo has overwritten data on the card this should solve the problem - but you will lose all of the pictures on the card, of course. starwatcher Posted July 25, 2006 Share #26 Posted July 25, 2006 feedback from my friend Horst: In this combination the Jobo definitely works: R8 - DMR Firmware-Version 1.2 Jobo Giga Vu Pro Firmware 1.0.7.378 SanDISK Ultra II 512 MB full with DNG Files Inserting the SD card into Jobo, written to Jobo and verified, card back into DMR, all pictures visible... Hope this helps; might make sense to check the Jobo firmware release... best - Klaus

starwatcher Posted July 26, 2006 Share #29 Posted July 26, 2006 just another info flying into my mailbox: Jobo has informed us that a new software version will be available at the start of the Photokina. Currently RAW pictures are displayed as thumbnails, they will then appear in normal size. best - Klaus
