allamande Posted June 8, 2013 Share #1  Posted June 8, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I call this my Chaco Canyon cactus because that's where I purchased it, more than 10 years ago. Somebody was selling these out of the back of a truck, out in the middle of nowhere (literally). Three years ago, it started blooming! Here is this year's bounty. Each flower is about 1.5" across.  LX7 Welcome, dear visitor! allamande Posted June 10, 2013 Author Share #10 Â Posted June 10, 2013 Henry, K.-H., Stuart, Paul, Karl, Tri, Al, and Hank, Â Thank you for taking a look at my Chaco Canyon cactus and for your generous comments. It is a small, thorny wonder that keeps the memory of a long-ago trip alive. The blooms are gone now (they last only a couple of days), I started waiting for next year already. Â Stuart, for cacti you don't need a green thumb, just the sun . Â Ece
