Popular Post erl Posted January 21, 2022 Popular Post Share #79441 Posted January 21, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm watching you! Hasselblad 203FE + Planar 110/2.0 Ilford HP5+ dev in Xtol. I was testing the 110mm lens for close focus at max. aperture. It is really a Hasselblad 'Noctiux' in performance, and difficulty of use, correctly. But like the Leica Noctilux, a real joy to use when you get it right. Welcome, dear visitor! I don´t want to rub salt into the lens --but the 2/110 is amazing. What may help on the other hand: you´d need a focal plane shutter body, as from the F or FE series. I can recommend the 203 or the 205. Makes a nice addition to a 500 body. ☺️ Btw: lovely squirrel pictures ! 1 1

Thanks, Dr. Klaus. Yes, the second minimalist abstract I shot in Palm Springs has a similar palette with the cerulean blue and raw umber shadow, which is why I posted it in the same neighborhood. BTW the geometry/composition of your Tyrolean Alps rendition is admirable.

I have one that was gifted to me by Wayne a couple of years ago. I've found image quality to be excellent but it requires concentration to get everything right. When I do get it right results are phenomenal, I learned the hard way that it isn't a snapshot camera, you have to work it.

It is a "fiddly" camera for sure, making operating a barnack Leica seem streamlined. But it is really small and the lens seems quite good. Early days for me with it.
