I followed the discussion on the M11 when there were hints that the IQ was tilting back to the M9, for which I'd have some interest (my M10 sits on the shelf unused for > a year and begs to be traded in). But, alas, I've now read several reviews and seen a number of photos. Some of them are beautiful--but in the same digital sort of way. 

Sorry to do thread drift, and now back to our originally scheduled program on film.....

m3, 50 summitar, hp5+ at 800 in dd-x, printed on mgfb and scanned. 

This is spectacular. The best child portrait that I can remember seeing. I have yet to explore the dark art of printing. Is this entirely a result of the negative, or did some of this magic result from your skill at printing?
