Something from the dusty archives:  Vice Chancellor on her way to a graduation ceremony, Old Royal Naval College Greenwich with National Maritime Museum and Royal Greenwich Observatory in the background, putting this shot almost exactly on the Greenwich Mean Line.

Another dusty archive shot:  a statue of the chap who--allegedly--'discovered' Australia, at the National Maritime Museum Greenwich.

What a perfectly exposed picture of this wonderful landscape!

I really like your Bauhaus series - even more since my own visit to Bauhaus Dessau last year.

An extremely well executed portrait of this outstanding person.

This picture is full of warmth and respect for this woman. Very good work!

Welcome to the Club, Wayne ! Of the many cameras I had and have, the SW perhaps is the one I've lost my heart to. If that's possible with a machine...

So, if your camera is from 1956, you have a "Super Wide " which was made from 1954 to 1957... The coupling of the film advance and the shutter cocking was only introduced with the SWC in 1959.... the lens formula alas remained unchanged until 2001, when lead and arsenic was omitted. If that helped the lens more than the environment is disputable... And in 1972 the multicoating was added. T* ....

What you have is a real low production camera... probably only a few hundred being made-and of those  remaining  you've got one !

I'm excited and look forward to see results ! Perhaps you can train Zoe how to make a selfie with her paw !!😁

SWC 905. Just shy of 40 years later than your SW...

Another mouth watering winter picture. So well done - love it!

A last one from the Rollei 35 LED series (for now). My rather contrasty and harsh treatment of the Fomapan 400 may in fact not be the most suitable way of testing lenses - a medium speed tabular grained film developed in a staining developer may be more suitable - but then I like the moody looks of the Foma, and don't take pictures to test lenses in the first place.

An interesting perspective!

That brings back some memories! Over forty years ago, my father-in-law's last naval posting was as the Captain in charge of the Royal Naval College. We had some splendid and rather inebriated nights in the Painted Hall (on the right above) for their annual Ball. How odd to cycle from our West Ham slum down through the unreconstructed Isle of Dogs, through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, get past the policemen at the gate, and change into a tuxedo, glossy dancing pumps and bow tie! I narrowly escaped an elaborate and unwanted wedding ceremony in the Chapel (on the left) by making him an offer he couldn't refuse: we would elope if he'd buy us a honeymoon at a small fraction of what it would have cost him to pay for the formal affair. Bless him, he agreed and we had a simple Register Office wedding and a honeymoon in Menorca:
