I’m enjoying your Balmoral photos Ramesh.

We hadn’t been to Balmoral for ages but went for a walk there last Sunday.  I especially love the old 1920s concrete bridge over to the island.

Travelled light with a CL, 40 Summicron-C and Ektar. Still to be processed…

Regards, Mark

On a recent day trip to Paris I decided to take along my rather neglected Leica CL. As it was intended as a compact (travel) Leica camera I took the Elmar-C 4/90mm lens along with the Summicron-C 2/40mm. At its time of introduction the CLwas the most compact full frame 35mm camera with exchangeable lenses and through the lens metering, and you still feel that (compared to a M).CL, 40, Foma400

I've been using my CL more as of late with it's excellent 40 and 90 mm C  lenses.
Very liberating having such a compact kit.

FujiFilm GW690III, FujiFilm Pro 400H

This is the first MF film photo I see from your trip, nice but also veiled by an association with climate change. Did you enjoy the GW690? I’m thinking again to buy one, but hesitating between gw and gsw

I'm glad I took the 690GWIII 90mm (~40mm equivalent) lens. A joy to use, performed flawlessly, but a shame there is no 220 roll film so only 8 very carefully considered shots per roll.  I think this is the best all-rounder focal length and I'm a big user of 50 & 28mm equivalent combo.
The GSW 65mm  (~28mm equivalent)  lens would pair nicely with it in general use but would have been less useful for me on this trip.

I'd have liked to have also taken a Fujica G690 with a 180mm lens 😁. Didn't think of it. They're quite cheap.

I've not posted any of my digital stuff which looks fabulous. Working on a book and exhibition of my film and digital.  Long-term project 🙄.

I posted these earlier in this thread. They are all preliminary Epson scans as I'm waiting to get them onto a Heidelberg drum scanner early next.

You must have missed these...
