Gingerbread

The fancy woodwork trim on old wooden houses here is called 'gingerbread' - not a term I ever heard in that context in the UK.

For Chris ,  this picture I find the quite " special color " IMHO ...  but it's what I see the day this photo was taken

Absolutely convincing color reproduction in this picture. One can easily feel the slightly cool chill coming from this pre-winter scene.
