That's really old school at it´s best. And apparently one of the 500s  has been dusted off...

MP; SEM 21; Portra 400@200

I've played around with getting that lens, though always felt it was brutally sharp on digital Ms. But this is quite beautiful.

And then there is the new VC 21 f/3.5 at less than 1/4 the price... I dunno....too many good things out there.....

Excellent!  I sat and listened to Alvin Lee's 'The Buest Blue'  whilst looking at this image!

Thanks so much for Alvin Lee's headliner "The Bluest Blue." Ultra-cool. I punched up the track with George Harrison, just astounding.

Cheers, Rog

Yes, it is sharp. But not too sharp--the overall qualities are well balanced and give you  a perfect starting point from where to  develop your ideas.

And thank you for the compliment.

Steve, a great picture again. Perfect use of the square. And as I  find it an interesting juxtaposition to Rogs Not Yellow am I allowed to call it " Not blue " ?

Thanks for the lift of humor.  Saussure would like it, too.  Heads-up, I am working on some more primaries coming down the pike.

+1. Made me a fan, too. Amazing. Lots of influences, but I teach a course on Bob Dylan, so I naturally see that strain. Hammer and nail kind of thing.

Thanks! Yes, I was happy about finding these (3 rolls) as most of my negatives were ruined when I had a water heater leak which dripped through the ceiling onto the shelves where I kept the negs.

Here are a couple more, taken on Dartmoor.
