The Vollenda is unique in the manner of film body construction. The top is latched at top, front and allows lifting of the top panel to fold top and back open. So different from the typical back panel opening and swinging away. While in no way comparable, in configuration, to any Leica, it presents elegance that is reminiscent of old Leicas, old BMW motorcycles, and old Mercedes Benz vehicles. It is certainly of the same provenance. Physical and spiritual. OBTW As far as the "free stuff".....Zoe did not give it a sniff.
