Very well done Marc! Quintessentially elegant, bravo. Are you shooting at the moment in Singapore or is this an older photo?

Thanks a lot Philip for your kind words. I am just at the moment in Singapore, but this photo is from an older shooting. Unfortunately I lost almost all of my films during my last shooting because the shutter of my F6 did not work properly. My backup M10-D saved me….

Zoe and I arrived at our abandoned cemetery resting point on one of our walks, only to discover some kind soul had dropped off some "free stereo equipment." It was one of those "dropped out of the sky" moments

Marc, I´m always  impressed how you fill the frame. Not to mention the adorable models...  The M3 and the period SLX seem to suit you.

That's cool, shooting Delta 400 in an Agfa Clack.. 😁.   I looked up the topography, now I understand. You were standing at the " Museu de Arte Contemporanea"... Brazil, though fascinating,  was never on my shortlist, so big, a bit frightening... perhaps I should have second thoughts about the country.

Philipus,  I´ve been thinking what makes your pictures so different. I think it´s the huge antagonism of the ostensible businesslike surface and the underlying horrors of the agenda we all know about. And the absence of people. Hannah Arendt comes to my mind: the banality of evil... Well, Eichmann wasn't your client, but his little offsprings  and alikes..

There is a light leak....😐

never mind the leak... technical perfection is not important in the decisive moment.

Nagel Vollenda (6x9), Ernst Leitz 105/4.5 Elmar, TriX. 6x9 Leica?

interesting question Wayne: what makes a Leica a Leica ? Is a Sony with a Leica lens a Leica ? Clearly not.  An M body with a CV lens ? perhaps... I just bought a CV 21/4 as a lens for a snapshot set-up--but it doesn't feel as good as the SEM on the same MP. So my verdict: A Nagel Vollenda ( Did you get  the pun ? Vollended means perfect, completed, nothing left to add.. ) is a Nagel Vollenda in her (?) own right.

btw I just hate people leaving free equipment...

Great idea and a very creative interpretation of the concept of the "negative" space..

I have a soft spot for 6x9 folders. The Vollenda is unique in the manner of film body construction. The top is latched at top, front and allows lifting of the top panel to fold top and back open. So different from the typical back panel opening and swinging away. While in no way comparable, in configuration, to any Leica, it presents elegance that is reminiscent of old Leicas, old BMW motorcycles, and old Mercedes Benz vehicles. It is certainly of the same provenance. Physical and spiritual.

OBTW :)

As far as the "free stuff".....Zoe did not give it a sniff.

This is quite magical, Wayne. Did you paint it?

That old Nikkor-O is a magical lens. I think the fact that I have been using the waist level finder on the F2 may have contributed something.  Thank you so much for the compliment.

Very nice Chris. 6x Diafine. Rare as hens teeth these days it seems.

If it isn't too incestuous, here is the Diafine (and its cousin, Acufine), on HP5+ and developed in Diafine. 500c/m, Planar 80, small extension tube.
