Hahaha :) It reminds me of the safe sex scene in Naked Gun.

Nice shot. For some reason, it makes me think of garden gnomes. I like garden gnomes. :)

Best,

Wayne

Imho much better than the painting, bravo Phil.

Sterling stuff Xicara. A beautiful slice of artistic reality.

Here's me talking about this thread's magic serendipity again. Xicara's beautiful ephemeral vision above contrasting with Steve's equally stunning descriptive scene. Both just amazing to behold.

Now pictures from a little trip to San Francisco in 2001. I went to visit my brother who used to work there, until someone flew aircraft into skyscrapers and foreigners had to leave the country.

Amazing. I like the depth of the sky- and the graphic juxtaposition of the antithetical colors and structures..

Mystical atmosphere, Xicara de Cafe. Beautiful.

Newton, the Übervater of all the phycists.  May I suggest another name that comes to my mind looking at your spectrum, Rog: Vesto Melvin Slipher... he did the groundbreaking research upon which Hubble, who knew better how to play the media,  set his law about  the redshift---  leading to the understanding of the ever expanding universe.. I'm just trying to make sense of your spectrum. Is there a shift, if yes, red or blue--expansion or contraction--or is ist moving sidewards.. and are the reddish clouds in the bottom gray square moving or is that just another imagination ? .... Ah, you sent me on another journey, Rog...

Puzzlewood, Gloucestershire.  Local to me, Puzzlewood has been used as a location for many films including Star Wars.  Understandable, as it is an ancient and very atmospheric place, but I'm more interested in the site's ecology and history as an open cast iron ore mine that dates back to Roman times.

Steve, another wonderful picture. I'm glad you put a Hasselblad picture among those Fuji 690w...relieves my GAS a little bit.

Spooky, Pritam. Stirs my imagination. What better could you say about a photograph ?

I like both, Gary.   Being a great friend of the 6x6 frame, here the b/w  catches the mystical quality of the scenery even better
