Nikon F2,  Nikkor E 100 2.8, TX 400 in Adonal 1:25

Reactivated my F2 with a roll of expired TX today :) The F2 till works fine. The mirror is a bit loud and needs new dampening.

Great shot. I'm sure other people asked already, how did you like Metropolis?

Klaus, you just blow the socks off us 35mm guys with a shot like this ! Colour, light, framing... very impressive. Well done.

Thank you Pritam; I payed for this photo  with my blood: the mosquitoes indulged on my hands while I was waiting for the "decisive" moment... in the end the sheep came to me expecting some bread as a reward... nothing comes easy... 😅

This is good. Real good. It makes me think there should be a script to go along with it.

Thank you Wayne. I rode by this scenery on my bicycle and just had to stop and take the picture. It is more a feeling, encompassing my memories of my grandfathers farm, where I spent a lot of time as a kid.

Rog, you are  chasing my eyes around this field, trying to have a closer look at the gray spots at the crossings--which of course vanish as soon as I think I got it... So maybe it is not only about photography as Phil suggests, but also about reality and imagination; maybe about windmills in the distance..

Phil, I agree with Antonio --your New Mexico Series is phantastic. For me the %$#%^(*& SUV isn't that bad; it just shows two worlds colliding.....

Yes. This photo is an event.......shared event. I think that it is on the highest level of photography. While it's texture is unique, it  reminds me of some of Eggleston's work. It makes me want to be there. For fun, I imagine something diabolical with the chickens triangulating the sheep. What could be their intent? :)

I like your use of re-purposed lenses. And the Contax T series has always had small jewels of lenses. I am curious to see more of this one.

You used the steep contrast curve of the Ferrania film to good advantage here!

It is surely an interesting film. I like some of its image representations a lot, but am still getting used to it's quirks. Red is not strongly represented in its palette, highlights blow in strong contrast situations, you get basically 35 exposures, not 36 and all the films have slight scratches somewhere, so either the emulsion is soft, the cassette faulty, my camera sucks or the development laboratory singles out this film... Still, it's a unique film, so I am not unhappy with it :)

Philipus, for me the best of the fun fair series-so far. Aren't those LEDs  an interesting  addition to the joys of fun fair photography... ? Somehow my physics teacher comes to my mind: if the rotation of the wheel is ... .. and  the flicker frequency  of the LED is 100 Hz,  what's the exposure time ?

This. And we'll get to that 40mm Hasselblad lens a little later, but look at the dynamics of perspective here. We know it's in motion, too, because only a photograph can show in two-dimensional space what occurred over seconds, minutes... days. But it always comes back to the celebration of colour (= FUN) in these amusement park pictures of yours, Philip. Bravo!

This is spectacular: 1) unlocking the secrets of processing P30; 2) it is reminiscent of those old East-Bloc posters inspiring the "Comrades" to greater effort in support of the revolution. :)
