thanks, Gary.  Yeah in a way it answers the questions that I get so many times around "don't people get upset" and "don't you get into arguments all the time" and "don't people hate you" and "aren't you monster"..???

It helps reinforce the answer that I usually give that "photos tend to lie...." 🤷‍♂️

With this last video clip, you get some insight into what drew me to this family.  It was all about the girl, and the way she was strutting ahead of her parents with a fearless NY attitude, dressed as fashionably as her mother.  Totally reminded me of my 12 year old daughter.  It drew me in and I wanted to capture that attitude...and me thinks I did 😉

LOL, yes, I have/had all those thoughts, even "I'll bet he's had his nose flattened a few times". Mind you the pic of the new toy/old toy was scary enough to rebuff some of the subjects you encounter, and from the audio of one clip you seem to "communicate" with them as well (guy on the street side of the bus shelter?).

 

I actually took a few pages to work out what the heck you were posting to be honest., The pics I know/knew from many pages of NY shots, the video threw me, until I clicked on one, and then the light-bulb moment happened. A great insight into what you do.

Thanks a lot. It is an old shot, I'm afraid too old to recall the film correctly. From the area of shooting I guess it is Ektar 100. I'll have to look through the negs to check it.
