That is a charity-funded disability vehicle, a short conversation revealed. ...under the shade of a 'pilkhan' (white fig) tree, searing monsoon heat.

Rog, you know more than most of us about monochrome paintings... and why they are such challenges.  I like it--even if it is not really mono..  btw: you need to be an old-school photographer to understand the title !

Thanks, Klaus. I hear you about succumbing to the Hamlet Syndrome: too much thinking messes with the mind. I had been thinking about a series centered on the idea of "Cranial Implosion," hoping for a product endorsement from ADOX, but where it would go slips my mind. Just as well, since there are only two rolls of ADOX Color Implosion left on the free market, if you can call it that, and those two rolls are hidden somewhere in Nepal above 14,000 ft. Moving on to 18% gray, yes, a nod to the old-school photographer, so I've decided to update the moniker and call the new work simply "Zone VI."  I am wondering about product endorsement from Pentax. Wait. That's been discontinued, also: the Pentax Digital Spotmeter. So old-school! Nonetheless, Klaus, here's "Zone VI" for you. (Is the Kodak Gray Scale far behind?)
