This is my beloved Leica II conversion from 1931 with the screw mount 50 Summilux and the wonderful Summitar. Sadly the camera is in need of service now. The shutter seems to have gummed up.

One saving consolation is that the shooter has not "gummed up."

Really interesting, thanks Andy (and I'm not going to ask the question everyone is thinking about - what the heck is it?! :) )

Up until an hour ago, I would have said "just an interesting constructivist sculpture."

And then it struck me - it is a smart phone! As it would have been built with, say, 1994 technology.

You need to get yourself a pair of these if you plan to do a lot of slippery rock shooting; I use them when I fish off the jetties at the shore.

Oy, Marc and I thought my crocs were ugly.  I'm sorry, I'd frankly rather perish!

Dynamite narrative! So, you are talking yourself into AdamDrone? Will AdamDrone work the franchise with Bat Man. Is that a Croc, or what? Loving the metaphor, "swallowed by crashing waters," and the "gashes in my legs" harmonizing with "those tiny crabs in between the boulders." Okay, you've got the start of your Prime Video, season 1, so who's going to play your sympathetic/unsympathetic wife?

Seriously (or even Ernestly), your panoramas are important work.

Very funny, Rog, and witty.  And thanks :)

I really like the mixture of the different people, some look very traditional and other very modern. What is the background, is it at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem?

Many thanks and yes you are correct it is the Wailing Wall.

This is really stellar.  I agree fully with Philip.  Congrats and hope to see more of this as it is really inspirational.

The wonderful drabness of this East Berlin scene is now gone forever with the now-rebuilt station.
