Guest Posted July 18, 2019 Share #61954 Posted July 18, 2019 This is really starting to piss me off. I used to get bubbles when I developed my 4x5's using the Taco method. I then used the SP445 tank and if I remember the bubbles went away. I have just used this B's Reel for the second time on my Besseler motor base I the bloody bubbles have come back again. What does the gang think it is causing these bubbles and also the streakey lines (Developer maybe or ME). Its very frustrating whatever it is Welcome, dear visitor! erl Posted July 18, 2019 Share #61955 Posted July 18, 2019 It's been a long time since I had that sort of problem, but as I recall it was due to insufficient developer level in the tank. Also, I think, over agitation.

More amount of developer, stopbath and fixer and not so harsh agitation. I would try to presoak before developing either.
