Pentax ME Super in 1993, lens, film and development unknown. Scanned from 4x6 print.. Poor devil was surrounded by antiques, books and muzzleloaders. Not that there's anything wrong with any of that.

That was my first camera in my youth. I buyed it in the early 80s at age of 16 from money i earned it with delivering newspapers in the neighborhood and selling old bicycles that i got from scrapyard and did refitting them.
The Pentax ME Super is a much underrated camera it was the compact and lightest SLR at its time and had a brilliant operating concept.
Unfortunately it got stolen in the 90s...

Bought my ME Super second-hand in Norwich in about 1980 - I still have it and it still works!  :)

Nice Photo, but i prefer the backyards that are a little bit rotten. Thats too clean for my taste... 😉

Me too. Too sanitised. Photographically speaking, I prefer the decay of the former East. Hard to find now!

Yes, during the gentrification every grown individuality is destroyed. All towns look similar today. Every corner seems to be conceptualized and planned by agencies. Same shops and same sterile boxy architecture.
Most cities today looks like a live rendering from archicad…
