Hi Michael, it's because he doesn't like flies. Though it may be because he likes that it says Rambo on it :D

Hello Phillip,

Nice photo.

Do you have any idea why your neighbor is wearing this type of headdress?

Best Regards,

Michael

Truly wicked and evil :)

Well what does slightly out of focus matter when you have caught such a wonderful natural portrait on film? (though it doesn't seem very out of focus to me). Impressive metering too.

Although this portrait is unfortunately slightly out of focus, I like it a lot:

This is a delight Pritam. Like a little story all on its own, with the lady walking away, proably to work, and the young man standing there smoking, perhaps not yet having gone to bed at all. Or something completely different.

Thank you for your kind comment, Philip; much appreciated. I think you've read the story dead right. The lady is quite certainly on her way to work but I honestly didn't see the young fellow lurking there in the shadows when I pressed the shutter. I only saw him about 4 months later when the film returned from the lab! 😄

Thanks, Adam! It is none of my favorite pieces of art, either - but it will be a constant reminder of our walk through Central Park with @stuny, as we met at this location on a nice sunny morning :)

Here you can see him with my son, who performed some of his magic card tricks on him:

love these, James.  I really regret not be able to meet your family.  @stuny has one up on me now :)

My favorite Mexican restaurant.  It used to be a muffler shop.

Love that Taco joint, Ray.    What film?

Rog, #  60534 is not available on my screen. I thought it was my i- Mac, but it also doesn't show on my tablet.  Only  a question mark. Question marks are ok, but that's not what you intended ?   K.

great colors,  I love these particular greens and blues.

Just got my book on J. Albers and will sink my teeth in it--to understand that "transparency" thing.  K.

That is terrific optical quality Wayne, and colours are spot on too. Are there a lot of houses with these types of bricks where you live? I'm asking because here in the Netherlands pretty much every house that isn't a modern house is built with such bricks.

Aurora, IN is an old river town on the Ohio. Culturally it is predominantly German. The local folks are constantly doing what they can to dress it up. Yes, almost the entire town is brick....of the type shown in the photo. Thanks for the comment.

OBW, beer is also a very serious matter in Aurora. :)

Same camera and film.
