why not ? what makes the difference between film- and sensor based photography for me is the knowledge, that there is something between reality and your perception--the film. Color shift and grain just reminds me of this. In sensor based photography, my impression is, the delusion is fed  you can overcome this separation from the "real world"--so the never ending run for higher resolution and more pixels and sharper lenses. In the end, inside your head--big surprise-- it´s completely dark. So no light, no colors at all. Its all done by your neurons and what they whisper ... But before I get carried away, let me not forget to say: I like these "wrong" pictures.

Very interesting, Klaus.  Thanks for sharing that insight!

Patagonia, Moreno Glacier

HB, Planar 2,0/110 + Zeiss Converter 2x,  Portra 400@200.  Handheld on the moving boat.. No PP of colors.

Amazing - just love those colors.  Portra is really an incredible film

Thank you Pritam, that was an interesting spot wasn't it? I think you'll have some different angles to mine though - I'd love to see some.

BTW it looks like it's been rather cold since your return to France - brrrr!

(edit) oops I guess your recent postings have been pictures you took before you came to Australia - sorry about that!

Wow! Hello, Google Earth, 80,000 ft. (or 8 inches), we are on pure oxygen. Your astounding shopping carts diptych was channeling Pollock in spirit with a well-articulated abstraction of the residue of consumerism, a monochromatic documentation of shopping machines that charts the archeology of urban habitation, while here, you have pushed the abstract palette to flesh out the sensory landscape, painting with light.

Thanks for pushing me to Koudelka’s Exiles! I see the line you draw between him and Trent Parke.

Cheers, Rog 🎬

Those are great Antonio on C200, a film stock that's as 'cheap as chips' 👍
