Some more tourists snapshots from NYC. I know, this was done by so many people before, but that couldn't stop me from making my own slide...

very good, and each rendition is so different.  there is room for all of them!

we walked past this structure yesterday.  i must say that of all of the crazy art that they display on this spot, this is my least favorite.  I just couldn't make heads or tails of it.  i just can't help but think of all these things that they could display on that very busy corner.....

Thanks, Adam! It is none of my favorite pieces of art, either - but it will be a constant reminder of our walk through Central Park with @stuny, as we met at this location on a nice sunny morning :)

Here you can see him with my son, who performed some of his magic card tricks on him:

Although this portrait is unfortunately slightly out of focus, I like it a lot:

Hello Phillip,

Nice photo.

Do you have any idea why your neighbor is wearing this type of headdress?

Best Regards,

Michael

Hi Michael, it's because he doesn't like flies. Though it may be because he likes that it says Rambo on it :D

Well what does slightly out of focus matter when you have caught such a wonderful natural portrait on film? (though it doesn't seem very out of focus to me). Impressive metering too.

This is a delight Pritam. Like a little story all on its own, with the lady walking away, proably to work, and the young man standing there smoking, perhaps not yet having gone to bed at all. Or something completely different.

Thank you for your kind comment, Philip; much appreciated. I think you've read the story dead right. The lady is quite certainly on her way to work but I honestly didn't see the young fellow lurking there in the shadows when I pressed the shutter. I only saw him about 4 months later when the film returned from the lab! 😄
