The theatre of interrogation, so accusatory, the in-focus/out-of-focus, the burning glare of the bulb, the assault of texture, dead earth colors, and the "object"--no, I don't want to find out what it is or how it works. This is just so Samuel Beckett What Where. YouTube it--short and haunting. Double-bill it with Harold Pinter's Mountain Language. Love your editing in these shots. There's language here.

Cheers,
Rog

Thanks Rog, it's always great to get a response from you in you inimitable style; makes it worth posting a picture just in case it somehow resonates with you.

Thanks too for the references, will definitely take a look.

Nothing mundane about that, where's your other boot though?

Or was it a passer-by that you almost cloned out, but neglected to do the boot?

So many questions.

Pilot training paying dividends, I hadn't noticed the boot. 🤓

Little in the way of traffic to focus on, so scanning the periphery, LOL.

Another WTF moment from the mean streets of Manhattan. Great photo Adam.

Another reflective abstracty sort of thing (same roll as previous one).

A somewhat unsettling image, Philip!

Not at all mundane!  Interesting to see these results of 35mm film in the Fuji. I have a GW690II and recently read a DIY guide to the process.

One of your most unusual (verging on bizarre) yet Adam!

This is by far the coolest photo of your series! I am sure she is waiting for the Fedora man to be rescued!😉

I love PhotoShop too! * 😉

This is brilliant Adam. I was wondering how if ever you could possibly top the series, or whether you had already created your best. Not so, they seem to get better as a result of your trained eye.

* That's a lie, I actually loathe PS

Here is another version of the first shot, in case anyone wants to vote ...

I like the second shot.  The bright whiteness of the guy's collar in the first shot didn't fit the scene and tones.

This one made me do a double-take. I'm a big fan of bright lights. There's that cool '80s computer display thing going on here, sort of like Stefan's (S/W) photo from Hong Kong, contrasted against the powerful mountains in the background.

I agree with the others, this one is by far one of the best of your blizzard photos. It looks like she's about to get hit.
