I had seen the famous towers in many photos over the years (such as in the 1938 book Leica In Aller Welt) so when this view presented itself (on a path near the Loeb Boathouse) I had to make sure I captured it. I look forward every day to your latest pictures of the city and the people there! 4

Popular Post philipus Posted March 17, 2019 Popular Post Share #59136 Posted March 17, 2019 I also like daisies a lot because they show remarkable resilience. No matter how many times they may be cut down they will regroup and stand up again. In a slightly roundabout way this made me think of the horrific unforgivable atrocities committed recently in Christchurch and also in Rio and of which so many other countries have been the subject, not least the United States. I hope this comparison doesn't come across as inappropriate as it is not intended that way, but even in the midst of the deepest despair and hurt it is by rising and standing together against such viciousness that it will be beaten. And that being said, I also know that those are only words and that words only go so far. Welcome, dear visitor!
