Damn, Adam! You're situational awareness is impressive - What is referred to as near-future imaging, whereby you can sense the likely next move.

Thanks, Eoin - I guess I should run out and buy some lottery tickets now...?  Ha ha, funny that ! 😂

very clever Paul.  I hope you went inside and bought something :)

Bizarre railing.

Bizarre, indeed.  And you used it masterfully as a prop in your composition.

Love it, such a beautiful abstract and love the contrast and grain.  Bravo!

James - I just realized that I had forgotten to tell you how much I love this photo.  I know exactly where you took it and it is wonderfully timeless and authentic.   Congrats!!

Thanks very much for your kind comment, Adam. I had seen the famous towers in many photos over the years (such as in the 1938 book Leica In Aller Welt) so when this view presented itself (on a path near the Loeb Boathouse) I had to make sure I captured it.

I look forward every day to your latest pictures of the city and the people there!

Are you sure the lady with the mobile phone wasn't copied to the scene by your lab? :)

Despite all the schmootz I love the mood in this one:

Ricoh GR 1 - Cinestill 50D

Ha ha, very funny, James. And I love this latest scene.  Do you snap this while riding down the black diamond hill?  😜

Wow, what a nice slice of nature.

This one and the one before with the two boys, to me, work like a diptych because of the look on the  younger boy's and the man's faces. It's uncanny how the man looks like an adult version of the boy.

Classic Adam, the look on her face is pretty priceless (and for everything else there's MasterCard :p )

Good work, Apostolos - I like how the image within the image is only reveled when you delve into it.

This is a delightfully balanced composition.

I don't know if the terrace was there at the time, but this could have been shot 100 years ago. It looks like a true vintage print.

Very cool, I've never seen a cycling event from this angle. Great use of a compressed perspective I think.

Thank you very kindly, Gentlemen. I really appreciate your thougts. And thank you James re 800T. I'm going to try that one because I really need a faster film.

Something about the daisies is very attractive. Maybe it is the juxtaposition of the natural curves of the flowers and the strong lines from the aperture blades...

Regarding Cinestill film, I think I will stay away from the 50D, but now and then use a roll of 800T, as I made better experiences with this emulsion.

An appealing blend of pastel colours, shapes, movement and light. I imagine it would look good printed very large and hung in a foyer!

wow, amazing, Philip  - you are the bokeh king with those flower photos.

15 hours ago, EoinC said:

Now that is a classic Hasselblad shot, Philip, in the best sense of the made-up phrase. The Zeiss Pentagons bring abstract to the organic flow, with moments of sharp detail appearing across the image - I love it!

Hi, Henry.

Good to see you in here again, too. This series was by Rennrocky, but my daughter was racing at the event of my earlier photo - I'll have to have a look for some photo's with her in them.

I use both Leica and Canon (and others), Rennrocky. I think photographers make better pictures, not cameras. Nice shot.

This was an easy slope - classified as red in Austrian / European system, meaning blue in North America. But with the Ricoh GR 1 it is child's play to snap away on the go, as it is easily pocketable and a joy to use. I even managed to take it out of my pockets while riding the t-bar lift and do a snapshot of my son following me.

Another picture, where I tried to tame the schmootz:

Ricoh GR1 - Cinestill50D

you tamed it well, James.  It is lovely.  Did you refrigerate the Cinestill before or after using it?
