Hi Mike, I don't notice any issues with Tri-X curling, the real curly film for me is ACROS 100 (but won't stop me from shooting this very special film).

I hang my film to dry in a DIY drying cabinet, weighted with a clip and Tri-X comes out completely straight with no curl at all. How do you dry your film?

My experience is the same as this - Tri-X comes out straight (weighted, hanging from a clip), whilst Neopan Acros 100 turns into a clock spring.

Leica M8 (320 Isos) -28 Summicron Asph

Black is deeper and nicer in Kodak TX

Why ? look at the file size of this picture

DNG 10 Mo versus TIFF Film 116 Mo > x 11 times more

which gives a clear lack of DETAIL and black

in addition hypersharp aspect of the ceiling

For the curving film, the Kodak TX or other brands bend a little but if you leave

in the folder they become flat. The Nikon or Epson V700 Frame

makes the film less curved and the ANR glass  makes it completely flat

I never had any scratches with the ANR of BetterScanning , if it hangs take some

fine glass paper and polish a little
