Very interesting swatches of colors in your series, Rog.  I am enjoying it very much!!  I have throw a couple of rolls of Adox into my bag for the PRIDE parade tomorrow.  Let's see if I get the courage to use it!

Knowing your ADOX signature, it ought to be a real time warp--50's palette with a contemporary splash of NYC audacity. Can't wait. BTW the Summaron-M shadows/window reflections with the little illuminated "WALK" sign--awesome.

Excellent Jayant, I'm so happy to see someone else shooting contrails.

I wish I had THAT! :)

Awesome blue, snaps me right to attention. What grabs me is that this is a sign in "ruin." Ruinism kicked off in the 18th century, a preoccupation with the ruins of buildings, sculpture, art, even literature and such, and we've been artistically intrigued with the history that ruins hold and how this plays on the imagination to reconstruct their former perfection. A "perfect" Southport sign would not have any of the intrigue of your ruin sign. Is it being ruined by weather, catastrophe, neglect, vandalism?--the dialogue draws us into the conversation, the play of imagination. Good show! Thanks for a sign in ruin, perfect as it is.

Thanks Rog.

I always enjoy reading your analysis; I read every one you post. They're insightful, expertly written, but to receive a personalised critique is a real pleasure.

Looks great Edward. Indeed excellent colour. That looks like a very precarious way of transporting large boxes...

Chinatown on Kodak Gold 200. This is the first time I try this film. More grainy than Portra but nice saturation and contrast. I like it.
