Very interesting 10-year expired Ektar look ;)  I think you should make your formula a LR preset :)

Thanks. It helped having a 60-year expired accommodation look to photograph ;-)

I didn't do as much post-processing as you may have thought :-)

While the Ektar is certainly nice Mark, I wonder if you used some B&W?

Gary

No I didn't Gary. Good question as I love B&W.

Only took the M10 and M7(with Ektar)to the island and took digital and film cameras everywhere I went. I decided against B&W film but it would have been perfect for this site.

I'm still deciding between colour vs B&W conversions for the digital photos from that site. B&W is very atmospheric but those '10-year expired Ektar' colours (to quote Adam) are really nice. Will eventually post them elsewhere in the Forum.

Regards,

Mark

I'm going on my third Sunday as a with my glorified "lemonade stand" in Gallery 5 in the Empire Stores in Dumbo, Brooklyn.  Being a street vendor is so much fun, especially when you are selling your own art and you see how people really dig it.  It has been really fun engaging with hundreds of tourists from all over the world, as well as a bunch of locals.  I've sold about 150 so far and am headed out for another fun day and hopefully a few more sales to share the love of film photography and New York City!

Very well done Adam, and well deserved.

Can you give up your day job yet? ;-)

NO!  But between these little hotcakes and my NYC cityscape sales I've raked in about $9000 in 7-8 weeks.  I truly think I could take Peter Lik out of NYC if I went all in 100% with my own brick and mortar.  But I guess that will have to wait for retirement. :D  In the meantime, I've been executing on a light touch strategy of partnering with high-end home decor and furniture stores in NYC to sell my cityscapes off of their walls on a consignment basis.  I have a small handful of gigs so far and am actively seeking new partnership opportunities.  I'll share some pics in due course!   These plexi-mounts and metal prints essentially sell themselves when seen in the flesh :)

If you have a favorite high-end furniture store in Australia that you think might be interested in partnering, do let me know!!   I am happy to share 1/4-1/3 of the sales price!

Have a chipmunk family in front yard.  I like to stand for a few minutes and see if I can get a look at them in evening. Walked out yesterday, with camera; discovered Sebastian, neighbors cat, is a chipmunk watcher, too.

Love his one, Antonio - I keep coming back for another viewing

Thanks, Steve.

It is a very strange structure built with dead tree branches.

Here some not backlit views. I believe it could be photographed in hundreds of different ways.
