My first 5x7 photograph. Shot with a 1926 Gundlach using a 1905 Bausch and Lomb 210mm lens on Ilford FP4 through a red filter. 1/5 second at f11. I think this will make a good portrait lens, it’s sharp in the middle but very soft at the edges.

The characteristics of this lens, indeed, would not seem likely to predispose it for landscape/ architecture, but for this shot, it works out beautifully imho, better than if it were tack sharp edge to edge.

Agree, and if toned "could" look as if taken many a year ago.

Sorry for the above spree, but I just finished scanning a few rolls

Nah, keep 'em coming.

I find them a refreshing addition to your M10 and super-wide-angle shots.

Kodak Ultramax 400, Kiev IV, 50/2 Sonar (Soviet)

Decided to take a test drive. Intended to have some fun with the much discussed Fiat 500. Wound up taking this for a spin. It's all Antonio's fault.

Thank you, it does work well on this photo. I will shoot a couple of portraits with it and try some different lenses outdoors.

A few recent shots from Barcelona. These were taken with the M7 and a mix of 35mm and 50mm lenses. The film was Delta 400 rated at EI1600, processed in DDX 1+4.

Antonio,

In some respect I totally agree with you. What a car! A year ago I was hiking through the hills and mountains of Tuscany and Umbria, on tiny tracks strewn with boulders and knee-deep potholes, through the woods and often ancle deep in mud. But no matter where I went, somewhere up there almost always a Fiat Panda was parked in the middle if the wilderness, waiting reliably to bring its owner down again...
