It's the center of the scene. A few years ago … I don't know the currently meeting point. At the ECB? Claus Raible and Anna Lauvergnac in Jazzkeller 2013 Welcome, dear visitor! stray cat Posted May 10, 2018 Share #50186 Posted May 10, 2018 As usual, some wonderful photos. Adam, your New York scapes are always superb - the one above is at the very top of the pile. Inspired by Stuart's colourful and fascinating pictures of Egypt, I thought I'd add some of mine. These scans are from very early in my scanning career - I must go back and rescan them. A miller Posted May 11, 2018 Share #50191 Posted May 11, 2018 Thanks for the nice comment, Phil. And thanks also for sharing the great photos. This one is particularly striking. I just love the lines and colors!! Karnak Temple, Luxor

stray cat Posted May 11, 2018 Share #50193 Posted May 11, 2018 You can say that again, Eoin. Oh, wait - you did! The first looks great with neutral(ish) colour - but the dreaded cyan seems to have made a major comeback in the second.
EoinC Posted May 11, 2018 Share #50194 Posted May 11, 2018 Not sure why the multi-post happened, but edited now. I agree on the cyan, Phil, although the tiles were a mouldy-green colour, and were in shadow of trees. I'll have a play with the cyan slider. Cheers, Eoin

erl Posted May 11, 2018 Share #50197 Posted May 11, 2018 Eoin, that second version/correction looks like it is just desaturated. Try adding in some red. I feel it will look more natural. Of course I wasn't there when you shot it, so only you can judge the accuracy of colours.

Of course I wasn't there when you shot it, so only you can judge the accuracy of colours. Eoin - kudos to you for doing this by yourself. I never could do that. I agree with Erl although think the second you posted could be brought to life just a little better if you increased the contrast. This will deepen the dark points and increase the color saturation just a bit. Not totally sure if it will work for YOU but you might give it a whirl. Congrats again!
EoinC Posted May 11, 2018 Share #50199 Posted May 11, 2018 There wasn't much red in there, and adding red saturation didn't work too well for me (I'm not too good at this colour lark). Here's a link to the original .tiff file, if anyone want's to play with it... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rw9b380ufowecej/AAAtnlNjxt_6WKAgnHD2kSc8a?dl=
