Phil - thanks a lot.  I quite honestly hadn't even paid too much attention to that sign.  To me that masked man had to be pulsated with my flash.  And I elicited the charged reaction that I had envisioned.  And, as you say, he seemed the opposite of "happy" :)

This picture. Sometimes - all too often - the juxtaposition of people/expressions with found text from billboards or whatever seems pretentious and too "try hard". Here it is dead-set hilarious. "Happy hour never goes out of style". Indeed.

Wow, those yellows just leap off the screen.  I have to give that film a try.  I have never seen it so vibrant!  I also haven't seen such a bright, sunny and warm day in several months.... :)  Thanks once again for the inspiration!

The rush is obviously the Bingo, we all know how much the ladies like Bingo - Legs 11...

Ha, ha, god one.  And she has her smoked dinosaur ribs from the Smokehouse in the bag to gnaw on while she is playing...

Absolutely beautiful shot, Jay. It reminds me of one I took there two years earlier (showing Ms Stray Cat contemplating taking a picture of Aoraki with her Rolleiflex):

Not a bad idea at all, Adam. Let me know if you ever decide to put it into action :)

I most certainly will.  I know you have a lock on all of the espresso joints in town :)

Not a bad idea at all, Adam. Let me know if you ever decide to put it into action :)

Well, our disjointed NYC sidewalks can sometimes be like trekking mountains, and our heel-goers are in a way asking for trouble yet somehow persevere.  I have often difficulty with my flats! :)

Not to mention those heeeeeeeeels (but not for mountaineering, though  ....).

Oh yes!! :(

That'll definitely get Adam jealous, Phil. The sunshine is just oozing out of it.

This is perfect in every way, Martin.  I just love it.  Congrats!!
