Wonderful Pritam, from the colours to the composition.

Docklands, Melbourne.

This is my favourite so far. I like the tunnel effect and how the smaller chair contrasts to the darker surroundings.

Great shot Jay. The only cure against Velvia is more Velvia.

Sometime in the '90's

North Head Lighthouse, Sunset

Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, Ilwaco, Washington

M6, 90mm Tele-Elmarit, Fuji Velvia

All are very nice, but the first one is my favourite. The dog's look is pretty priceless.

Some shots from this year's Dog Show ..... (Q shots are posted in the Sport Section). Mostly Portra 400 and 800 -- 400 pushes better than 800, FWIW (at least indoors) ...

Haha armchair photography, excellent term (and a very nice abstract too).

Another daughter-shot. I could get used to this armchair photography...

I really like your series of cycling photos as I've never been to such an event. I just noticed that there are often very cool shadows from the competitors and their bikes, esp when you've shot from inside the ring. There must be quite a few big lights in the arena, right? I'm wondering how it would look to make an abstract showing less of the riders and more of the shadows. Just an idea :)

...and a touch of colour...

An abstract of sorts of a mailbox at the Groot Vleeshuis, or Butchers' Hall, in Ghent, built in 1408 (though probably not the mailbox).

I like the composition, colours, and mix of textures, Philip, along with different facilities for different eras. Great photo, Philip.

Thanks, Philip. Actually, some of the shots I like the best are fully blurred, and I do like the cross shadows that happen with the multiple light sources. I have a bunch of films to develop, so I'll see if I can find something more abstract in there.

These are all really nice, Steve. Great classic looks. I think i like the B&Ws the best, and the ones with the open aperture in particular. My 10yr old daughter would have been a kid in a candy store at that event!

Wonderful, Eoin. At this poont I think she really needs her own LUF-film thread account :)

Really lovely, Ian. It looks so peaceful where you live.

Local pond. Fujifilm 400H and 28 Summaron-M.

Oh no, an orange envelope! That’s exactly the color that our NYC police use to put parking tickets in and leave on our windshield. I’ll never look at another bright orange envelop the same way again! :)
