Reference Purton Church, many thanks for the kind words. Right time, right place, really.  I was exposing the Fomapan 100 at box speed, forgetting to open up a stop for the yellow filter - doh!  Normally I would develop Fomapan 100 in Rodinal 1:50 for 9mins but as there wasn't an alternative time in MassiveDev, I went for the fail-safe of stand developing (1:100 for an hour).  Pleased and relieved at how the negs came out   :)

The photo below is a view of the west tower and entrance taken when I arrived and whilst the church was bathed in bright sunshine. (Same camera, lens etc)

Another one with get tones, Eoin.  Thanks for sharing these Delta 100s.  It's good to be reminded of its look.

Another Perth shot by the young 'un...

Really nice, Antonio.  Haven't seen much Fomopan 400 lately so thanks or sharing.

Really eerie mood you've captured, Keith.  Glad to see you rolling out that lens for some great photography.

St Mary's, Purton. One of only three churches in England to have both a western tower and a central spire. Taken mid afternoon early last week, just as the clouds rolled in. Hasselblad 500C, 60mm Distagon + yellow filter, Fomapan 100.

I recently saw this video of a guy who purportedly took a selfie video with a passing train racing by and got too close :o .... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BCrdx2ea9gE

It made me think of this one :)

Your Portra shots of people in cold, harsh sunlight are wonderful, Adam. I like the way they're protected against the elements, but not against your recording of the scene.

I'm posting this photograph mainly to illustrate the one major disadvantage to rangefinders, parallax error. When I looked through the viewfinder the window on the other side of the building was exactly centered in the closer window.

However, posting on this forum I'm preaching to the choir aren't I?
