Thank you Henry!

Thanks Keith!

Thanks Adam!  To be honest, I find the differences between HP5 and Tri-X to be very minimal.  I recently developed a few rolls of each at 400, 800 and 1600, and after scanning and editing I wouldn't have been able to tell them apart.  I usually just use whichever is more readily available at the time, but tend to lean towards HP5 when I have the option as it is usually cheaper here (though I also recently noticed that Tri-X is back to being cheaper to order from B&H).  For slower films I mostly use FP4 and I will occasionally use Delta 100 for landscapes, and am also currently testing Tmax 100 to see how it compares.

Fantastic, love these two Brendan. You are the high contrast B&W master!

Very good, Steve. Your vision is very well executed here, helped, I think, by the lack of blown highlights that one may normally expect to see in the equivalent digital image.

Thanks Adam,

Film is a nice medium to work with, so forgiving and captures so much detail. Also, when it comes to using film I seem to have a different mindset - I look for scenes rather than aimlessly snapping. There's like a switch inside me.

These pictures of Amman and Jordan brought back the memories of my trip to this interesting country 4 years ago - thanks for that, Edward!

Today the weather was cold but sunny, so we took the chance to visit Potsdam and the parks around Sans Souci. The name of this palace should be the right slogan for my family at the moment...

Got some nice shots on Agfa APX 100. Developed in Rodinal 1+50 @ 20°C for 10 minutes. This one is called: "Do you mind a kiss?"

Quick solo drive to Matera from a few weeks ago. Well actually the dog came with me. I took a few shots with the yellow filter, which I rarely use.
