Bought my first film since 2004 ! I really wanted to enjoy analog shooting like i did from 1987 till 2004. For this moment i use one of my Nikon's for this purpose (F3), but there will be a film M very soon.:)

I'll be back to post one of the first roll.

You are welcome Paul :)

Glad to read you and meet you here

I started to become allergic to smooth edges of digital photos

I come back to the movie before I have anaphylactic shock, prescribed by myself :D

Regards

Henry

You have corrected me :o: it is the word "film" of course

Thank you Stuart for looking

I have a chance to find a wheat field without pesticides full of poppies.:)

I took lots of pictures with my 2 digital M but also a lot of pictures with my analog R and my M7

Here some pictures ....this one in contre-jour

note the non-smooth edges of the film (versus digital) and the nuance of the flower

R8+ MacroElmar + Kodak Portra 160 (better than Kodak Portra 400) for these flowers...i would recommend

Thanks for your comments

I did a course for medical students on the perception of the image in neurology ...

it is not easy to see an image and it varies among individuals !

The system of image perception involves the eye, several nervous centers ...

I say this because I feel that almost (and all) of you are passed to digital

and the drift and deformation of the perception of the image has changed with the coming of digital ....

Kodak Portra 160 or how the film easily supports the effects of "contrejour" versus digital ..... the sun is in front of me !
