I posted the colour version (Ektar 100) in #58507 but then decided I wasn't happy with the colour balance (often a problem for me), so decided that the strong shapes plus light/shade would make it a better image in b&w.

(Fuji GW690II, ON1 Photo 10 plug-in)

I am not sure, which version, colour or b&w, I would prefer. I like them both :)

dear kleinkamera, hp5 film or any other make give different tonality look with different developers... of course there are other parameters which effect the film look as well.. your scans gave heavily black tones on my screen.. and that's why i wondered the developer which achieved that look... thanks for your reply before hand.

These pictures were made a few years ago but I believe they were developed in one of Ilford's developers, probably DDX. They are also just inherently contrasty negatives, because I am often attracted to late afternoon, Fall/Winter, low-angle light type of shooting conditions. Here's another:

Wow that is s-h-a-r-p! I love the perspective and how the wall leads towards the Minster. Very well executed. Out of curiosity was the XP2 developed in C41 or HC-110?

Lovely light in these ones Patrick. And, to be a true film nerd, I really like the grain of the Fuji 200

Yummy tones! On my screen these images go all through the range from darkest blacks to brightest whites all with details. Nice.

Really cool Pritam. I like the "oppressiveness" of the massive concrete structure versus the seemingly fragile cyclist.

Who ever said trees are boring? Very nice. And I like that you left air above for it to breath. I had never heard of Astrum Foto 400 before. I like the results a lot.

Well having now left the museum, I guess we can walk anywhere we like so let's go to the park for a while. Inspired by Antonio's photo above, this is a tree from last summer which clearly didn't feel so well.
