So first you tease us with all of these excellent 2D multitychs, and then you continue by adding more and more textures and shadow areas to keep us on our toes. And now you literally blow through the front end of my LCD with a 3D, hmm what's the word for a *tych made of of one image, a unitych? You're a master at bending reality to fit your artistry Rog. Awesome.

For your generous comments, thanks so much, Philip. There's a considerable measure of luck in prospecting material, or perhaps I should say editing, too. I am not nimble enough for "decisive moments," which is one reason I so enjoy the artistry on this thread. I think I'm just going to adopt Pink Floyd's album The Wall, maybe "Another Brick in the Wall." I have yet to get pushback from a wall. Ha, ha, ha.

Cheers, Rog

Can almost feel it - lovely stuff! More please.

PS Was it exposed for 3200, and which developer did you use? Ta

Thank you, Steve and Adam! The picture presented is the best one that came out of the entire roll. I failed with the exposure compensation on my Ricoh, so while thinking about giving an extra stop of light I underexposed by one stop. Development was done for 3200 though. I used Rodinal 1+25 for 11min. As this was just for testing purposes, I'm not that angry. I will have to stock up on Tri-X and other black&white emulsions to stay in training for the right development, though.

Here just another example from the Ilford Delta 3200:

From the many diptychs, triptychs and polytychs you showed us in the past, this is the most appealing to me. As said before, it has these reminiscences to Kubriks monolith from "2001", although you give it a deeper, rougher and thus livelier dimension. Great work!

I would walk more than a few blocks for anything that smacks of Kubrick and his awesome black obelisk and all that wrapped in metaphor. This construct is one of my personal favs, too,  because I wanted to try shooting black and white in color and maybe slide a subtle hue in there. Thanks for the smiles.

Cheers, Rog

Philip - looks like you have a bit of a wild side to you???   😯

My first thought was he's channelling his Inner-Miller, or that he'd attended one of your NY Street workshops.

And I've even seen him on all fours inside a walkway underpass with his Hassy on the ground shooting graffiti (Antwerp or Ghent, one of the two). 😅

Damn, you've just convinced me to get Delta 3200 for my upcoming ski trip. Grain, for lack of a better word, is goooooooooood.
