Kubrick would have been very impressed by the discovery of this new Moon monolith. Or is it in fact the one he found, partially lit by the sun's rays as they clear the lunar horizon or perhaps that lovely thing called Earthshine? Whichever it is the palette is truly sublime as is your assembly of the fields. Rog, you have such an impressive collection now it's time to look for a gallery, wink wink.

Such great titles: Moon Monolith, Lunar Horizon, Earthshine!  Thanks for the wink, wink, nudge, nudge and the support.  Time has a habit of running out, doesn’t it?  I am still trying to have fun at intermission.

 Cheers, Rog🎬

[...] What a truly terrific street scene! Where was it taken? [...]

It's an old shot and I can't recall but, from the other scans of the same day, I reckon it was taken in Ioannina, Epirus, Greece.

While likely not the romantic that Philip is, his Valentine Day red rose suggestion piqued my interest, and having a few spare frames on the roll to finish meant I wandered our dry as at the moment garden.

These shots are great! A few years ago I sold the beautiful 1966 SWC I once had. Now I think it's the one Hasselblad I should have kept...

Wow Jörg, abstrakte Fotografie wird nicht besser. And from a technical perspective (pun intended because why not? :) ) how in the heck did you manage to line up the verticals on a rangefinder? Great, just great.

Thanks a lot, Phil!

It was a lucky shot, I only had to tilt in PS a little bit :)

Regards Joerg

P.S. The photo shows these cooling towers (same roll as above):

It was quite dark, 100 ASA wasn't really enough, and she was lively moving while we were talking. Predictably the result isn't particularly sharp, but for me at least, I caught something of here character.

Sharpness is secondary. You've captured the character of the person well.

Excellent Gary and plenty romantic methinks, especially the first one with the lovely watercoloury colours that seem to bleed into the canvas.

This is really cool Wayne. A boyhood dream to have a flying wedge thing and fly into the sky. What is it?

I think you did a very fine job Christoph. This is what portraiture is about, catching those fleeting moments when people allow us to see them as they are.
