I see it's time for some new fixer - those stripes are a peculiarity of underfixing XP2 after HC-110 development. They happen if you use standard dilution fixer, so I make mine a bit more concentrated. 5 minutes for the first 20 films and 10 minutes for the final ten films. This was film #26 and had ten minutes but I guess I can refix it if I want. Oh, they are arranged vertically as this was done in a motorised Rondinax 60.

Wow!!

Let me take you down to the "Pietzmoor".  A landscape that was holy for the old Vikings, Celts, Germans and Slavs. I can feel why...

Again M6, 90mm Apo-Summicron and Tmax 3200

Your attention to the background in your photographs is notable, whether in color or black-and-white. This one, for instance, is a classic Vermeer composition with the subject facing toward window light, and yet, there is attention to the out of focus background on the left of the frame, which sets the model in the foreground in relief. You might want to take a look at Gerhard Richter’s portrait “Betty” to see what you can do without showing the subject face.
