Ha ha! Be careful, the godfather of analog films could appear........Rule number 1: use only film!! Never, never never touch a digital camera

btw: great landscape photo like always!

LOL!

Yes, Marc, how did you know?  The God of film did indeed appear to me at that burning bush.  And after explaining "Rule #1" he went further:

Rule #2:  Violation of Rule #1 is punishable by significant financial loss, especially if the digital camera is a Leica :)

Rule #3:  Never forget Rule #1!!

Rule #4:  A lifetime of dedication to film will guarantee you a place in film heaven, which, God explained, is a paradise of never-ending sky-fire and skylines...

Sharpness and accurate colour aren’t everything, are they? This image was shot in an Agfa folder converted to pinhole. I used Ilford FP4, shot through red, green and blue filters then combined the resulting three black and white negatives in Photoshop to produce a colour image.

Yesterday I experimented with using an old Canon G9 in manual mode as a light meter - the LCD shows the exposure changes as you adjust shutter and aperture, and it makes a nearly idiot-proof way of ensuring there's no clipping. But it does feel like cheating, so it's back to the Sekonic today. 500c, 150/4 plus ext. tube, XP2, HC-110, X1 scan:

It seems to me that you have a very good connection to the God of film!

Rule #2: this is the truth for sure

Rule #3: yes

Rule #4 is not correct, you have missed the most important part. The correct version is:  A lifetime of....................is a paradise of never-ending sky-fire and skylines and beautiful faces.

Very often I see beautiful photos in this thread with a Medium Format camera. Two years ago I sold my Hassi 500 to fund my SL. But sometimes I regret it. I do not think that my photos are better with a medium Format camera, but it is more because of the fun. But looking around there is really such a big choice of beautiful cameras. And I know, the real Hassi Lover (ONLY 6x6) will now cry his eyes out, but has anyone of you experiences with the H1?

I still got here some twenty years old pictures, which i made in the little home  "wilderness" of the South Heath in Lower Saxony. A wonderful landscape with wide forests, lakes , moor, rivers and creeks, also little villages. One of germany´s vipers live here, as well as eagles, black storks, cranes,  fishotter etc. and one of germany´s biggest crowd of wolves. I have seen them, but could´nt photographe one of the grey´s yet. If i got one, i shall post it in the LUF. But so long just take this landscape pitures i made, as i said, 20 years ago...
