I'm not overly dog orientated, but I swear this one has "Don't even think about it" written all over his face, that surly sideways glare.

To see her take what is offered makes me smile. Very timid. She appears to have a generous helping of pit-bull in her genes, but she is just a big baby when she comes over for a visit.

Ghent, another amazing part of the world, and one which we explored for a day with Henry and Philip.

An awesome experience, and it would have been even better if the roll of colour had not been damaged beyond salvaging. One time I was happy to have back-up, albeit in B&W.

Some more, every which way you looked there was something that truly made you look and go "wow".

Awesome composition and colors, Steve. Also very nicely scanned.

Thanks Edward, nothing fancy scanning wise, just a Plustek.

Incidentally, since updating Silverfast to 8.8 it's definitely quicker overall when dust and scratch detection / correction is enabled compared to the earlier version of software.

Very nice indeed Adrian. A true postcard photo in the best sense of the word.

A cliched shot perhaps, and not really my usual taste but I am posting it because it shows how the super angulon 21mm f4 creates 18 point sunstars with the 9 bladed aperture diaphragm.

Portra 400, super-angulon f4 21mm, M3, Nikon Coolscan V.

Wonderful, it even looks a bit like Mars.

Lingmell and the Scafells.  The view from my tent on Kirk Fell.

Occasionally, when the season and atmospheric conditions are right, the hills surrounding Wasdale can turn cherry red at sunset.  After a long, hot walk up Wasdale to Styhead Tarn, up and over Great Gable and down to Kirk Fell, I pitched my tent  and cooked myself some well-earned pasta.

I had an idea that I might be lucky this time with a Wasdale sunset, so I set the XPan 2 up and watched as England's highest mountain began to glow.  It all came good.

Later, the stars were amazing and the hip flask was welcome.

Very nice, Philip.  And extremely clean scan, as usual

Another from a late-night walkabout in London in November. Same kit as earlier.
