Thank you Otto. I prefer Portra 400 to Ektachrome 100. The colours are quite outstanding and it is such a great film for a huge range of subjects. Even though I'm shooting P400 at 1 stop overexposed the colour saturation is incredible. For whatever reason I just can't get the colours I like out of E100, whereas I always loved Ektachrome colours and shot lots of it.

Even by your standards, Henry, those poppies are amazing! And they show us how it's done: especially with the macro and tripod. Just such a beautiful expression of nature and naturalism, reminding us of Jesus's "lilies of the field."
