Wo man die heute noch findet weiss ich nicht. Das Foto ist von 1986 in Kaiserswerth, wenn ich mich recht erinnere. Immerhin findet man noch in einigen Einträge zu der Firma im Internet. Ich zweifele aber, dass der Laden heute noch so besteht.

Eilean Glas foghorn, Scalpay.  The original tower seen behind the compressed air tanks was one of the first four lighthouses in Scotland and had a whale oil light, first lit in 1789.

It was replaced in 1824 by a revolving light in the tower on the far left.

Wonderful color palette. I like the  juxtaposition of the fuzzy gras and the dark round shadows--the dark shapes adding even more  tension to the composition. Minimalism and color photography at its best.

It was the two tufts of green grass in late day light, talking to the soft tree reflections in the water that seduced my camera with a whisper, "Take my picture, mister. Take my picture." Thanks for your comments, Dr. Klaus.
