Leica M6, Summicron 2/5 (iii), Kodak T400CN, C41 min-lab process, Nikon Coolscan 5000ED, a touch of Keystone adjustment in Capture 0ne.

Just noticed the typo:  it is the 1970 Summicron-M 2/50 type ii (on the Leica wiki -- some call it type iii to distinguish from earlier rigid Summicrons).  The one that some say is the "inferior" Summicron-M but I found it was excellent on film (slightly less so on unforgiving digital).

Also my first roll of Kodak 5222.

Bravo Antonio! Both very good photo which gives the atmosphere of the moment. And excellent tones with the 5222.

A definite inclusion into our newly-discovered and restored Hitchcock masterpiece! The long shot wherein perhaps he's suggesting some kind of dishevelled or disoriented  mind... Exquisite colours though!

I have this lens and find it absolutely fantastic. I remember reading that the optics were recalculated for more contrast and it delivers that in spades.

Really cool series Antonio. Did you get a big roll of Double-X?

Wouldn't there also be a scene in that film whereby the protagonist is fleeing in panic across the deserted landscape? Here's my quadruple take of that part... (from the viewpoint of the protagonist I might add)

Oh those were indeed the days. When men were men, and women were happy about that (as a friend of mine sometimes says).

This one, like the previous dunes shots, are with the 50 Summicron (11817).

Delta 100 processed as BW positive. A round about way, but I really like B&W positives.

Fascinating sequence, the anticipation and the event. Gone in a flash but your record has a unique signature and will be a stamp of these times.

Your four footed friend has good taste in locations, as do you with the recording of the same.

Thanks. I've been asked about the color version of the race pictures and I honestly was a little ashamed to say it's BW film ...

Thanks. Not yet, I wanted to try it first, so I found a decently priced offer for 5 rolls from a chinese vendor. I need to check with a Kodak Italian reseller if they actually have the big roll but I have to say 400ft is quite intimidating.
